Well, in reality there is not much to say on creating a YouTube account, because there is just one type of account to create and that is the regular one.
YouTube doesn't offer special accounts for businesses. It does offer special "brand channels" for business purposes, but companies register for those later, after they've signed up and created a standard YouTube channel.
Now you are done with Step 2. It’s time to optimize our Channel.
A lot of people think that YouTube is all about creating a simple account, start uploading some videos like crazy not caring about setting up a channel, and then they think they will start making crazy money with all the traffic they will get once their videos are live but, let me tell you that is not the way it works.

To set up and customize our channel you just need to go to the YouTube Links area and click where says “My channel.”

Channel Icon: In order to upload the icon for your channel you just need to click the little pencil, click on Edit on Google+ and upload your image. The Recommended channel icon size is 250px x 250px
Channel Art: In order to upload the top banner image for your channel you just need to click the “Add channel art” button, and upload your image. The Recommended channel art size is 2560px x 1440px. Max file size: 2 MB
Channel description: in order to add the description for your channel you just need to click the “Channel description” button, add your description and click “Done.”
Channel Links: in order to add links for your channel you just need to click the “Links” button, and start adding your links. Remember to click “done.”
Something awesome in your channel is that you will be able to set up two types of links: “Custom Links” and “Social Links”:
You will be able to place those links in the Art area as well by selecting the “Overlay on channel” feature. The first Custom link should obviously be your website URL because you will be able to place just one of those kinds of links in the Art area.
You will be able to set up multiple social links as well and you will be able to place up to four of those social links in the Art area.
Don’t forget to click “done” once you are finished inserting links.
